Job Description: The success of our Company starts with the people. Our Human Resources internships provide one element to our strategy to provide talent for critical projects and potentially future hire. Our Human Resources interns will receive a challenging group project to work on as well as other clear work assignments with opportunities to work on their professional development while enjoying visibility to human resources professionals and other Rite Aid leaders. HR interns will work in a variety of human resources assignments based in field divisional and corporate offices. The internship is designed to provide an opportunity to gain a broad understanding of the Human Resources generalist function and apply skills required in a professional business setting. Travel is required, including travel to the corporate office for those divisional office-based interns. Assignments may include but are not limited to the areas of: -Recruiting -Orientation and On-boarding -Compensation and Benefits -Compliance -Performance Management -Associate Relations -Investigations -Succession Planning -Human Resources Metrics, Reporting and Analytics Experience / Requirements: Desired Qualifications Include: -Excellent oral and written communication skills -Basic proficiency in MicroSoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint -Previous internship and work experience -Must have a proven record of commitment, ambition, and drive toward establishing and achieving goals -Must be able to work successfully on both individual projects and as part of a team -Must be able to provide excellent customer service skills that make both internal and external customers feel welcome Education: -Minimum GPA 3.2. -Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program.
